2nd wk in MB

2nd wk is meaningful..., likes met some friends abroad..

-lunch @ Thai Cuisine, the chicken Tom Yam plus rice cost $3.50.


- Ryan Van Winkle (front) wife is Thai & work as waitress in Thai Cuisine. My 1st spiciest meal in US.



-Bill is a story teller... for his old time in US Navy..his family..his ex. His big stomach always being derision by Clarence. We are at McDonald.


-Bill took me to this Red Lobster, beginning I think is lobster buffet, but it is only shrimp. But we have a delicious dinner there, for $20 each!

-Abuelo's Mexican Food Embassy, Clarence lead us there.


-wow! tasty Mexican stuffed chicken.. cost $9.79

3) Lunch @ The Hooters. The front center is Lee. His right is Chris. The guy behind is Clarence. The girls are the waitress. Three of them are the control & software engineer from M&E, they are the youngster in the team i found, they are 25~29 only. We went for lunch together this 3 days.

Hooters was the second restaurant I've visited. Some of senior M&E members talked about this place to me, I think this place should be an attractive in MB. I like the decorations inside, unfortunately we were rushing back for the meeting.



The 3rd day we go for CiCi's Pizza, the buffet style. I forgot to take photo again :]

The circuit city is not much attractive as I heard from Msia. I went there last night. Is on my way to/back factory.

The choices not up to my expectation, & so as the prices. Even though @ Law Yat is better than it! it term of prices especially. Laptop prices is not cheap as well! ranging from RM2500. I see it is more to installment plan. But maybe now is not the peak promo season. I'll revisit it again.

Had met with Dennis Overfield, Krina, Karon, and Tracy from HRs. I've some confusing on the names of guys in operations, because too much names & faces have to be set in.. I need to figure it out today first.

The 1st day was great here. I saw my 'baby', was 1/3 bigger than the demo unit. It is always interesting to work on a new m/c. I've start the upgrade works. First task is to replace quiet a numbers of control components likes temperature controllers, process controllers, counters.. to the a common type which can perform communication linkages.

The lunch is good for me. Bill and Lee take me out to SOHO for it. I picked the simples one from the menu, because afraid I can't finish it. I always take lesser now. The grilled burger was GREAT ! its grill taste.. the american burger.. is double our size here, with the sesame bread, plus some pepper, sos.., was WONDERFUL.. and open up my appetite..! I've finished it earlier than them! REGRET for order the small size only... :>)

Monday, October 13, 2008, time: 2:00 MB.

Thanks God, I'm here in MB, the long journey was exhausted me. I reached on time as scheduled.

Lee Lyon waits me at airport. We took the rental car from there also, is a Sebring Chrysler. Then we checked in Country Inn.

The room is comfort with all basic necessaries. The tv is 32 inch LCD. Complementary breakfast is provided. However it is no kitchen in room. I probably will face some meal prep problem later, but will see how soon, should be ways to solve it.

Lee guide me the ways to/back from AVX yesterday, I’ve take twice round by myself later, it is more confident now. He took me for lunch and War Mart as well. I‘ve bought some ready meal in cool. It should be enough for few days.

Skype facing voice problem, MSN is ok, managed to face to face with my love family.

I sleep early, from 6pm last night, without dinner..too tired. But I didn’t have long sleep habit, 6/7 hours were enough. I wake up 2am for this first blog.

I’ll start work today. Monday, 8am..an exciting day.
